Steuben County

The New York State Department of Transportation today announced that asphalt pavement overlay work will begin on State Route 417 on Monday, July 31, 2017, weather permitting.  The project will extend from 1.3 miles west of State Route 248 to 2.0 miles west of State Route 36, for a total of approximately 6.5 miles.  The scope of this project includes work in the Towns of Jasper & Greenwood in Steuben County.

Motorists will encounter flaggers, lane closures and could experience travel delays.  It is imperative that motorists remember to drive carefully through the many highway and bridge construction zones they will encounter this season.
