Dansville man faces felony charge in vehicle theft case

On August 10, 2017 SP Wayland arrested Stephen Van Iderstine, 27, Dansville, NY for Burglary 2nd and Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle 3rd.  Van Iderstine allegedly entered a family member’s residence and stole the keys to a vehicle.  Police said Van Iderstine then took the vehicle without permission from the owner.   Van Iderstine was arraigned in the Town of Wayland court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail on $5,000 cash/$10,000 bail bond.
