Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that on September 14, 2017, Deputies arrested Russell L. Irvin Sr., age 41 of Olean on an Arrest Warrant issued by Allegany County Family Court. Irvin was located in the Town of Genesee, processed and transported to the Town of Friendship Court where he was arraigned and remanded to the Allegany County Jail with bail set at $500.00 cash or $1000.00 bond.  Irvin is to reappear in Allegany County Family Court at a later date for additional court action.

On September 14, 2017, with the assistance of the Belmont Police Department, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office arrested Ronald M. VanName, age 47 of Belmont on a Bench Warrant issued by the Town of Cuba Court.  Van Name was located in Belmont, processed and transported to the Town of Friendship Court where he was arraigned and remanded to the Allegany County Jail.  Van Name is to reappear in the Town of Cuba Court on September 19, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. for additional court action.
