(Scio) - On September 5 at 11:20 p.m., Troopers arrested Tonya L Armstrong, 35 of Scio, NY for criminal mischief 4^th, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.

Troopers responded to a residence on State Route 19 in the Town of Scio for the report of an intoxicated woman in the front yard. Troopers arrived and found Tonya L Armstrong in the front yard. Police said she was intoxicated and had been arguing with a man she lived with at the home. During the course of the argument, Armstrong (allegedly) kicked in a door inside the home. When troopers arrested Armstrong, she physically resisted. Armstrong was charged with criminal mischief 4^th, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. Armstrong was processed at SP Amity. She was arraigned in the Town of Friendship court. Armstrong was remanded to the Allegany County jail on $2,000 bail. She is to reappear in the Town of Scio court in September 2017.
