Allegany County Sheriff Ricky L. Whitney reports that on October 31, 2017, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office arrested James A. Scotchmer, age 32 of Scio on an Allegany County Violation of Probation Warrant.   Scotchmer was processed and transported to Allegany County Court where he was arraigned and remanded to the Allegany County Jail with bail set at $3,000 cash or $6,000 insurance company bond. Scotchmer is scheduled to reappear in Allegany County Court on November 3, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. for additional court action.

Allegany County Sheriff Ricky L. Whitney reports that on October 31, 2017, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Wellsville Police Department with the arrest of Robert A. Hopkins of Scio on a Bench Warrant issued by the Village of Wellsville Court.  Hopkins was located at his address, processed, and turned over to the Custody of the Wellsville Police Department.
