The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Department says a 21-year-old man has been charged with 2nd degree Manslaughter stemming from a deadly weekend crash on Old Route 17 in Salamanca. Deputies said Damion R. Taylor was charged, arraigned and remanded to jail. Bail was set at $100,000.
Alexandria L. Kindt, 21, also of Salamanca died after being ejected from the vehicle when it struck a tree. Four people were in the vehicle at the time of the crash. A male passenger was also hurt and taken to Olean General.
Investigators say the probe continues and additional charges are possible.
