An investigation by the New York State Police in Bath and the Steuben County Child Protective Services has resulted in charges against a Bath man.  On Monday, troopers were dispatched to Ira Davenport Hospital regarding an alleged sexual assault.  The subsequent investigation revealed that Cody Marvin, age 23, of West Morris St., Bath, N.Y., was charged with Rape in the 3rd degree, a class “E” felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class “A” misdemeanor, for allegedly engaging in sexual intercourse with a child less than seventeen years of age.  Marvin was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Bath returnable at a later date.
