State police report the arrest of a man and woman on drug and weapons charges stemming from an incident May 20th in Amity. Troopers on Monday arrested Frank Scarpa, 54, of Allentown, PA. He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminal possession of a weapon 4th and felony criminal possession of a loaded firearm. On June 1st, state police also arrested Lynn Whalen, 21, of Belmont. The same charges were filed against her. She was initially jailed on $10,000. Scarpa was arraigned and sent to the Allegany County Jail on $20,000 bail.
