Canisteo man charged with child endangerment

A joint investigation by the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) and the Steuben County Child Protective Unit has resulted in the arrest of a Canisteo man.  Robert C. Morseman, 26, of Red Spring Run Road in Canisteo has been charged with assault 3rd degree and endangering the welfare of a child, both class “A” misdemeanors.  Senior Investigator Curt Eaton said it is alleged that on Friday, Morseman struck a child in the head resulting in physical injury.  Morseman was issued an appearance ticket returnable in the town of Canisteo Court on August, 6th, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.
