Blaine W. Hunt

Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on August 10, 2018, deputies arrested Blaine W. Hunt, age 36, of Pardee Road, Hornell, New York. Deputies responded to Crosby Creek Road in the Town of Hartsville, New York due to a report of a motor vehicle collision. The investigation revealed that Mr. Hunt was allegedly operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. It is also alleged that Mr. Hunt damaged the property of a resident on Crosby Creek Road and illegally possessed prescription medication. Mr. Hunt was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree, Driving While Ability is Impaired, Driving While Intoxicated, failure to keep right, speed not reasonable and prudent, possession of an open container in a motor vehicle and failure to wear a seat belt. Mr. Hunt was arraigned in Hornell City Court and released. He is scheduled to return to Hartsville Town Court at a later date.
