State police say they arrested Charles A. Sullivan Jr., 36, from Cameron, NY. Sullivan was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Mentally Incompetent or Physically Disabled Person First degree, a class “E” felony. The arrest stemmed from an investigation conducted after state troopers were called to a home on Beck Drive in Cameron. State Police Investigator Jonathan Stelmack alleges that Sullivan engaged in conduct which endangered the physical, mental, and morale wellbeing of a twenty-one-year-old mentally handicapped female victim. Sullivan was arraigned in the Bath Town Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash $10,000 property bond bail. The investigation in to this incident is ongoing, with assistance being provided by Steuben County Adult Protective Services.
