Dansville Cemetery Treasurer accused of pocketing more than $10K

State Police in Wayland on Tuesday arrested Barbara Howe, 75, County Road 46, Dansville, for Grand Larceny 3rd (class D Felony), Forgery 2nd (class D Felony), and Falsifying Business Records 1st (class E Felony).  Howe was arrested after allegedly stealing over $10,000 from a cemetery association in South Dansville, while she was the Treasurer.  Howe also allegedly attempted to conceal the larceny by making false entries into the business records of the association.  Howe was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the town of Dansville court at a later date.
