PRESS RELEASE
On September 20, 2018, the New York State Police in Allegany County and the New York State Liquor Authority conducted an underage enforcement detail at 13 establishments that resulted in two arrests. The following people were arrested under the New York Alcoholic Beverage Control Law, Section 65- Prohibited sale to a person under the age of 21:

-Denise L. Doran, 38, of Wellsville, an employee of Crosbys on Main Street in Wellsville, was issued an appearance ticket for Wellsville Village Court returnable at a later date.

-Allen R. Dannheim,72, of Bolivar, an employee of Bolivar Spirits and Wine in Bolivar was issued an appearance ticket for Bolivar Village Court returnable at a later date.

The following establishments were checked and found to be in compliance:
-Story Block Liquor, 92 Genesee Street, Cuba
-Valero , SR 305, Cuba
-South Street Mart, 18 South Street, Cuba
-Valero, 500 South Main Street, Bolivar
-Shorts, 4235 Bolivar Road, Wellsville
-A-Plus, 1 South Main Street, Wellsville
-Park Plaza Liquors, 14 Park Ave, Wellsville
-Giant Food Mart, 44 Park Ave, Wellsville
-Steves Gas and Grub, 41 South Main Street, Andover
-The Village Pub, 5 Main Street, Andover
-S and I Hamer LLC, 19 North Main Street, Wellsville
