10/8/18 7:15pm- State police arrested Kristin A. Grabbitt, 28, of Belmont, She was charged with three felony count of 1st degree offering a false instrument for filing and a single felony count of welfare fraud in the third degree. Grabbitt was released on her own recognizance. The charges stem from a fraud complaint filed June 4th.
10/9/18 4:30am- No injuries were reported when two vehicle collided at the intersection of Riggs Street and Empire Street in the village of Franklinville. Troopers listed the drivers as Kim R. Schurr, 61, of Cuba and Doris J. Mapes, 76, of Franklinville.
