October 12, 2018—Olean—William J. Aiello, Mayor of the City of Olean, at the Common Council meeting on October 9, 2018, proclaimed October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the City of Olean.  In the proclamation Mayor Aiello commended the Olean Professional Firefighters for wearing pink throughout the month to honor those who have fought the disease.

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month honors women who have lost their lives to breast cancer and recognizes the survivors who continue to courageously fight the disease.
