Pennsylvania State Police say a Smethport man suffered fatal injuries when he fell between 90 and 100 feet Monday from the Georgia Pacific MDF plant in Mount Jewett. The coroner pronounced Michael J. Page, 41, dead at the scene. The cause of death has been ruled accidental. Page was doing work on the plant roof when he fell. Company officials say they don't what caused the accident. Maintenance work was scheduled at the time of the incident. State troopers are continuing to investigate.
