The National Weather Service in State College PA has confirmed a
tornado near Buttonwood in Lycoming County Pennsylvania on October
2, 2018.

A large swath of trees were snapped in far northern Lycoming county
between Liberty and Buttonwood. The damage is characteristic of winds of
115-120 mph (EF-2 tornado strength). Additional information about path
length, path width, timing, and start and end points will be available
later this evening or by Thursday morning.
