Wellsville man charged in Potter County crash

A Wellsville man was treated at Jones Memorial Hospital after he was involved in a two vehicle crash on Route 449 in Genesee Township. The incident happened Monday at 5:56 p.m. Pennsylvania State Police said 22-year-old Dalton J. Sheets of Wellsville was driving southbound when he struck a vehicle operated by a 17-year-old female from Genesee. Sheet's was driving a pickup truck which left the roadway, struck a house and then overturned coming to rest in the highway. The other driver sustained injuries and was transported to UPMC-Cole for treatment. Troopers charged Sheets with a speeding violation.
