This poor, hard working guy rarely gets any press coverage. Here is his monthly report-
October activities:
I attended meeting of the NYS Weights and Measures Western Group, of which I’m Secretary/Treasurer, in Batavia. We discussed topics that we have jurisdiction over. We were introduced to three new County directors attending (Orleans, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus). There are also new directors in Genesee and Erie Counties.
I certified 2 vehicle scales in Wellsville. I, with the help of my interns, checked on scales at 8 businesses losing 1 and gaining 1. I, with the help of my interns, collected and disbursed to currier fuel samples for octane and cetane levels as well as other tests. I rechecked scales in Scio (1), Almond (1) and Alfred Station (1) with the help of my interns.
I checked school scales at Alfred Almond.
I scheduled fuel pump checks at Wellsville airport with NYS inspector for November 1st. I traveled approximately 700 miles in the month.
