Obituary: Bonnie Lee (Baldwin) (Oliver) Conroy, 72, Arkport

Loving wife, mother and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Arkport, NY on Sunday, November 18th at the age of 72, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert A. Baldwin Sr. and Mary Watkins Baldwin of Mohawk, NY and her brother Robert A. Baldwin, Jr. of Canastota, NY. She is survived by her husband Ronald Conroy of Arkport, NY, her sons Ronald (Jacqueline) Conroy of Liverpool, Todd (Lisa) Oliver of Avoca, James (Toni) Stephens-Oliver of Pittsford, Matthew (Candace) Oliver of Ithaca, her daughters Lisa (James) Klem of Avoca, Kelly (Cindy) Conroy-Scott of Fla, as well as numerous grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Linda Baldwin, her nieces Heidi Baldwin, Heather Olden and Holly Fleming, her Aunt Ruth Riel, and many cherished cousins, great nieces, nephews and friends, as well as her husband from a previous marriage, Edward Oliver of Avoca. Bonnie grew up in the Mohawk Valley and eventually settled in Arkport, NY. Beautiful inside and out, she was known for her love of flea markets, Elvis, and her affection for animals. Dearest to her heart were her cats and the many birds that frequented her backyard feeders, most notably the chickadees. Well known as a knowledgeable antique dealer, she was inspired by “the hunt” and recognized for her talent in creating beautiful displays within her booth at Erie Line in Hornell.

Calling hours and funeral services will be held at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home at 354 Canisteo Street in Hornell on Saturday November 24th beginning at 11a.m., a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. and burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fremont, NY immediately following. In lieu of flowers, her family has requested that donations be made in her name to the Hornell Humane Society 7649 Industrial Park Road Hornell NY 14843.
