On Thursday Amity-based state police arrested Tonya L. Armstrong, 36, of Wellsville for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th. During an investigation into a reported neighborhood disturbance, Troopers interviewed Armstrong. During the interview, Armstrong allegedly handed Troopers a bag that contained cocaine. Armstrong was processed and arraigned in the Friendship Town Court. She was released and is to appear in the Wellsville Village Court at a later date.
