Belfast man jailed on $100,000 bail

Allegany County Sheriff Ricky L. Whitney reports that on December 28, 2018, with the assistance of the city of Olean Police Department, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office arrested Gary L. Miles Jr., 27, of Belfast on a bench warrant issued by the Town of Friendship Court.Miles was located by the Olean Police Department and turned over to Deputies. Miles was then processed and transported to the Town of Friendship Court where he was arraigned and remanded to the Allegany County Jail with bail set at $100,000 cash or $200,000 bond. Miles is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Friendship Court on February 5, 2019 at 4:00 p.m for additional court action.
