Here is an update on 23 North on Main Street in Wellsville from Allison Green, Executive Director of Alfred Housing:
Last week contractors started installing the steel beams. New columns and beams have been installed at roof and threaded down to the basement. All of the existing roof has been removed as well as the brick walls on the third and second floors.  They will begin putting the new roof on this week. The building will really start to transform over the next month. The project is still on target to be completed by October 2019.  Applications for the apartments will be available this summer, but people that are interested are welcome to call Alfred Housing (585-593-6353) to have their name placed on the interest list.   16 Units of safe and affordable housing (smoke-free apartment building) for 55 and older earning 60% or less of the area median income.
