Law firm releases names of Boy Scout leaders accused of sexual misconduct - one name from Allegany County
The law firm Jeff Anderson and Associates today released the names of 130 Boy Scout leaders in New York accused of sexual misconduct with minors. The leaders were listed in the organization’s “Perversion Files” and worked in New York. According to CBS News, “Perversion Files” is a 14,500 page list created by the Boy Scouts between 1965 and 1985 naming “Ineligible volunteers” who had been employed by the Boy Scouts of America. The list was released in 2012 by the Oregon Supreme Court, CBS News reports.According to the list released by the law firm, in Belmont, they list the name Charles E. Ladison, Troop 24. The Boy Scouts of America released a statement Monday night saying they care deeply about all child abuse victims and sincerely apologize to anyone who was harmed while they were Scouts.

The law firm said,the Anderson List of Sexual Abuse in the Boy Scouts in New York contains the names of individuals associated with the Boy Scouts, who have been accused of sexual misconduct with minors. The information in this Anderson List is derived from publicly available sources. While lawsuits may have been filed involving some of these alleged perpetrators, the vast majority of the claims against these individuals have not been fully evaluated in a civil or criminal court. Accordingly, the allegations should not be considered proven or substantiated in a court of law. All individuals should be considered innocent until proven guilty.
