Acting on a bench warrant from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's office, Wellsville police early Sunday arrested Joseph L. Askins, 33, of Chrisman Street in Eldred. Wellsville officers met up with Cattaraugus County deputies and made a prisoner exchange. Askins posted $175 bail and is due back in Town of Allegany court at a later date.
