PRESS RELEASE 
 This morning at 6:38 a.m. troopers responded to a two vehicle collision on I-86 eastbound between exits 28 and 29 in the town of Friendship.  Further investigation revealed that a 2010 Chevrolet Express Van operated by Alfredo Ramirez, 46 of Rochester, NY was traveling eastbound on I-86 and struck the rear of a 2018 Indian Motorcycle operated by Christopher J. Tomasi, 50 of Cuba, NY causing Tomasi to be ejected from the motorcycle. Tomasi was taken to Erie County Medical Center by Mercy Flight for critical injuries.
NYSP were assisted by Collision Reconstruction.
This is an ongoing investigation.
