Hornell man faces six felonies in child sex case

A Hornell man is facing serious felony charged following his arrested Friday morning by State Police. While at the Bath barracks, 38-year-old Troy M. Lathrop was charged with four counts of second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child under age 11 and one count each of first-degree criminal sex act involving a victim under age 13 and second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child under age 13. The alleged crimes were reported May 28th in the Village of Avoca. Lathrop was released on his own recognizance pending additional court action.
