On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, the City of Olean Department of Public Works will be undertaking work on West State Street at the intersection of Independence Avenue (within the City limits).  This will involve restriping and overhead sign installation.  The westbound curb lane will be marked as right turn only and the center westbound lane will be a straight only. 

There will be flaggers directing traffic as the work progresses.  This will cause traffic congestion and delays for most of the day.  Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route, where possible. Please use caution when traveling through this intersection.  Thank you for your patience.
