Travel Advisory - State Rt 36, City of Hornell/Town of Hornellsville, Steuben County

New York State Department of Transportation today announced work will begin on a $750,000 maintenance paving project on State Route 36 in the town of Hornellsville and village of North Hornell, Steuben County.

The paving project will start just north of the Route 36 intersection with Adsit Street and continue north for approximately one mile to just south of the intersection with County Road 70A. Work is anticipated to start September 18, 2019 and be completed within two weeks.

This project is an interim measure to improve rideability and extend the life of the existing concrete pavement while longer term options are investigated.
