Jesse Beauchamp issues a 'notice' on Twitter

This is an update to a Wellsville police blotter post from Monday.

A Wellsville man has been arrested for allegedly threatening harm to Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney and the Allegany County Department of Social Services.

Village police on Sunday arrested Jesse K. Beauchamp, age 48 of Wellsville, charging him with two counts of Making a Terroristic Threat (Class D Felony). 

Police Chief Tim O'Grady said Beauchamp allegedy posted threatening messages on social media. O'Grady said one of the messages "threatened to blow up buildings." The police chief did not know the history of the dispute but said police became aware on Sunday of the alleged threats.

One of the alleged threats appeared on Beauchamp's Twitter feed. On September 7th, he posted a video that said, " Belmont Department of Social Services, 14893, this is the termination of your deed. Your interest is due. Your building is scheduled for demolition at 8 a.m. Monday morning."

Beauchamp was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice O’Connor.  Beauchamp was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $10,000.00 cash bail or $20,000.00 property bond.  Beauchamp is due back in Wellsville Village Court on September 17th at 4:30 p.m.
