At 1:08 a.m. Saturday, State police arrested Phillip H. Fanton, 76, of Scio. He was stopped on Genesee Parkway in the Village of Wellsville. Troopers charged him with driving while intoxicated-first offense, BAC above .08%, illegal signal:parked, unsafe turn/fail to signal, failed  to use designated lane, moving from a lane unsafely. Fanton was processed and released to appear in Wellsville Village Court at a later date.
