A Wellsville man was remanded to jail early Sunday following an incident on Thomas Road in the town. State Police arrested 29-year-old Dominic D. Grimes. He was taken into custody at 2:29 a.m. and charged with second-degree menacing with a weapon, criminal mischief, preventing an emergency call and harassment with physical contact. Arraigned in court, Grimes was initially remanded to the Allegany County Jail on $2,000 bail. Wellsville Village Police assisted at the scene.
