Flames Thursday afternoon damaged the Town of Burns Highway Building at 87 Main Street in Canaseraga. Volunteer firefighters responded from Canaseraga, Arkport, Nunda and Birdsall. The first unit on scene reported flames and smoke showing. Multiple ambulances were called in for standby. After one hour, the fire was called under control. The cause remains under investigation.
