Man faces numerous charges in Potter County robbery

An Elkland man is facing numerous charges following a home intrusion Thursday morning in Potter County. The incident took place at 7:30 a.m. at 5025 Phoenix Run Road in Hector Township. Taken into custody was 48-year-old Tommy John Causer Jr.
Trooper said in a press statement that they arrived at the scene and obtained information that Causer used force to enter the occupied home. Troopers gave chase, following Causer's footprints in the snow and located him on an adjacent property attempting to commit additional offenses. Troopers then took the man into custody. An arrest warrant was obtained through the on-call District Magistrate Annette Easton. Causer was charged with:

Causer will be arraigned on the charges upon his release from UPMC Cole Hospital for treatment of self-inflicted injuries.
