Dylan L. Coomer, 26, Brandon J. Poehmel, 21, Lawrence C. Haxton III, 34, Howard M. Burroughs, 41of Wellsville and Kristopher Delill, 38 were arraigned by a county court judge via a video link and sent to jail. They all will return to court April 8th. A 16-year-old Wellsville resident, also charged with murder and manslaughter, was remanded to a secure detention facility in Albany. Two others were arrested on lesser charges. According to Sheriff Rick Whitney, under order of Gov. Andrew Cuomo, during the State of Emergency, all criminal arraignments must occur in a county court. Burdge was allegedly beaten, repeatedly, in an apartment on North Main Street in Wellsville. His body was later dumped in the Genesee River in Willing. His body was discovered Sunday. Police have not net publicly identified the motive. Wellsville Police Lt. Josh Kear assisted BCI with information of potential suspects and witnesses. State Police Investigators on Wednesday were again interviewing people in Wellsville and Willing regarding the case.
