Steuben: STOP DWI Impaired and Intoxicated Driving Arrests
Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that from March 17, 2020 to March 20, 2020, deputies of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested the following for impaired or intoxicated driving, all four being released on traffic summons or appearance tickets:
-March 17, 2020, Roger D. Gilliam, Jr., age 36, of River Road, Lindley, New York. It is alleged that Mr. Gilliam operated a motor vehicle in Lindley, New York, in an impaired condition due to drug use. It is further alleged that Mr. Gilliam did not have license or privilege to operate a motor vehicle in the State of New York, and that he had a passenger under the age of 17. Mr Gilliam was charged with Driving While Ability is Impaired; Drugs, in the First Degree as a Felony, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Second Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
-March 18, 2020, Zachary R. Tyler, age 19, County Route 70, Avoca, New York. It is alleged that Mr. Tyler operated a motor vehicle on County Route 76, Pulteney, New York, in an impaired condition due to drug use. It is further alleged that Mr. Tyler knowingly permitted a child under the age of 18 to remain in a place where illegal drugs were being used. Mr. Tyler was charged with Driving While Ability is Impaired; Drugs and Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the First Degree.
-March 19, 2020, Jeffery N. Davis, age 55, of Baker Drive, Addison, New York. It is alleged that Mr. Davis operated a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition on County Route 127, Woodhull, New York. Mr. Davis was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Unregistered, Uninspected and Un-insured Motor Vehicle, Operating without a License and Fail to Use Designated Lane.
-March 20, 2020, Dalton J. Seager, age 24, of Moore Haven Drive, Bath, New York. It is alleged that Mr. Seager operated a motor vehicle on State Route 415, Bath, New York, in an impaired condition due to drug use. It is further alleged that Mr. Seager did not have license or privilege to operate a motor vehicle in the State of New York. Mr. Seager was charged with Driving While Ability is Impaired: Drugs and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Second Degree.
