The death of a 100-year-old man has resulted in the arrest of a Corning woman. Police on Saturday arrested Brenda Lee McKay of Corning. She was charged with second-degree murder.
According to WETM, Gerald C. Early was found unconscious in his home with severe head trauma. He was flown to Guthrie Robert Packer in Sayre where was pronounced dead. Investigators allege that McKay attacked the man with a hammer. She was initially remanded to Steuben County Jail.
