The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted local governments in Allegany County. Some public meetings were halted while others were conducted out of public view. Now, more than ever, the Village of Wellsville and others need to share meeting agenda's and minutes online.
If the public is to have a chance to comment on government operations, it needs to have some advance notice. This is from the Village of Wellsville website:

The last agenda was posted May 26th. The village board meets tonight and yet, the public has no idea what will be discussed. The Allegany County government has, without fault, made the public aware of its proposed actions.
It's unlikely this was a purposeful action. Just the same, if the public is to remain engaged, it needs information.
