Multi-county response to saw mill fire near Fillmore

Fire departments from Allegany and Wyoming counties this morning responded to an Amish sawmill fire on State Route 19 near Fillmore. Jeff Luckey is the Allegany County Fire Coordinator...he said all responding units did "a great job" in controlling the spread of the fire. The blaze was triggered in the saw dust area of the facility.  Luckey said the main building was sidelined for operations and there were no injuries. He said it took fire crews about three and a half hours to contain and suppress the fire. Luckey said the volunteer efforts "saved the place." He said there was nearly a seamless operation working with Wyoming County units. He said the cause of the fire was ruled accidental.
