Three more confirmed COVID-19 coronavirus cases were reported in
Potter County on Sunday, increasing the total case count to 76 — six over the past two days. Also between Friday and Sunday, there were 24 more confirmed cases and another death in Allegany County; 8 more cases in Cattaraugus County, N.Y.; 20 more cases in Clinton County; 47 more cases in Tioga County; 10 in McKean; 25 in Elk, and 33 in Lycoming County. Entering Sunday, area numbers were as follows: Cattaraugus, 599 cases and 20 deaths; Allegany, 512 cases and 24 fatalities; Potter, 76 cases, 1 death; Tioga, 355 cases, 4 fatalities; McKean, 193 cases, 2 fatalities; Lycoming, 1,097 cases, 32 deaths; Cameron, 14 cases; Clinton, 330 cases, 8 fatalities; and Elk, 270 cases, 2 deaths. Through Saturday, there have been 230,894 confirmed cases in Pennsylvania with 9,015 deaths. Cases increased by 6,934 over the past 48 hours. The State Health Department reports this breakdown of the patients statewide who have tested positive to date: 2 percent are ages 5-12; 4 percent are ages 13-18; 13 percent are ages 19-24; 36 percent are ages 25-49; 22 percent are ages 50-64, and 22 percent are ages 65 or older.
