Obituary: Bruce M. Benjamin, 67, Bolivar

Bolivar - Bruce M. Benjamin, 67, formally of 54 Friendship St. passed away Tuesday August 22, 2017 in the Absolut of Houghton following a lengthy illness. Born July 28, 1950 in Boise Idaho, he was the son of Howard and Martha Hackett Benjamin. Surviving are four brothers, Paul Tar Rapidan, VA, Lawrence (Linda) Benjamin Sr.of Friendship, David Benjamin Sr. of Florida, Doug Benjamin. Three sisters, Veronica Champlin of Olean, Mary Benjamin of Olean, Christine (Floyd) Roberts of Byron, N.Y. Several nieces and nephews including a special niece Sherry (William) Dolph Jr. of Cuba who served as a caregiver for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Joyce Shutt. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 26, 2017 at 1 p.m. in the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar. Pastor Ben Ramirez of Faith Bible Church in Little Genesee will officiate. Burial in Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar. Memorials to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, Elm & Carlton St. Buffalo N.Y. 14263.
