TRAVEL ADVISORY

Interstate 86 Eastbound Ramp to Interstate 390

Town of Avoca, Steuben County

The New York State Department of Transportation announced today that starting April 4, 2019, bridge repair work will begin on the Interstate 86 eastbound ramp to Interstate 390 in the town of Avoca, Steuben County. Work entails structural lifting and replacement of bearings, as well as, concrete repairs on the abutments.  Work is anticipated to last approximately 2 months.

All work will be confined within long-term shoulder closures on the right side of Interstate 86 eastbound and Interstate 390 northbound. 

Motorists may experience minor travel delays.  It is imperative that motorists remember this season to drive carefully through the many highway and bridge construction zones they will encounter.
