Wellsville police arrest man following foot chase

Wellsville Police Saturday morning arrested Chad M. Mulholland, 48 of Wellsville, charging him with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd, Unlicensed Operator, No/Inadequate Lights, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and Possession of a Controlled Substance outside the user’s original container. The charges stem from a traffic stop conducted on West State Street in the Village of Wellsville.  Mulholland was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice O’Connor.  Mulholland was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $2,500.00 cash bail or $5,000.00 property bond.  Mulholland is due back in Wellsville Village Court on May 21st at 4:30 p.m.
