Obituary: Richard O. Bartlett, 89, of Wellsville
Richard O. Bartlett, 89, of Wellsville, NY, died Saturday, June 22, 2019 in Highland Hospital, Rochester. Born March 8, 1930, in Orlando, FL, he was the son of Robert and Mildred Bartlett. In 1952, he married the former Rose Allen, who predeceased him in 1993. Richard attended the Genesee High School and the Wellsville High School and served honorably with the US Army. He owned and operated Bartlett Decorating in Orlando. Richard was a member of the Wellsville Rod and Gun Club. Surviving are: long-time companion of 25 years, Joan B. Artlip; two daughters, Connie Tucker and Debbie Brinkmyer, both of FL; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Millie Hannigan of Wellsville; two brothers, Ron (Lori) Bartlett of Marion, NC and Ray (Shirley) Bartlett of Ontario, Canada; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Rose, he was predeceased by a brother, Roger Bartlett; and two sisters, Roberta Corcoran and Barbara Bartlett. Services will be private. Memorials may be made to the SPCA Serving Allegany County, P.O. Box 381, Wellsville, NY 14895. Arrangements are entrusted to Mulholland-Crowell Funeral Home, Wellsville.
