Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on August 2, 2019, Investigators of the Steuben County Fire Investigation Team and deputies of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Rebecca L. Manry-Miller, age 39 of Ash Street, Bath New York. It is alleged that Ms. Manry-Miller intentionally started a fire in a residence, causing damage, and recklessly endangering members of the fire services. It is also alleged that Ms. Manry-Miller falsified information to facilitate an insurance claim. Ms. Manry-Miller was held in the Steuben County Jail to be arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court. Sheriff Allard thanks the New York State Office of Fire Prevention and Control, the Village of Bath Police Department and the Bath Fire Department for their assistance in this investigation.
